The timeline to install cabinets will depend on your home and the cabinets you design. Designing and ordering your custom cabinets will take about 2-4 weeks depending on the options you choose. Since we craft our cabinets ourselves, this time will be the longest around 6-8 weeks. Once cabinets are designed and crafted, RCC can schedule a day that works best for your schedule. From delivery to installation, most new projects will take 2-3 weeks. Once your cabinets start getting installed, you should have your full set installed within a few days.

Different materials and hardware will have their own warranties. Typically, wood and other materials made to craft cabinets will have a warranty. Not all warranties are the same, even when working with one company. We will provide you with all of the paperwork and information to help you understand the warranty on your cabinets. If there is a problem with the installation of your cabinets, our team at Rasmussen will do all in our power to make it right. Typical wear and tear is not covered by warranty.

Not all of your drawers need to look the same. Custom cabinetry and drawers mean that you can mix styles together. Some of your drawers can be slab-type, while others have a frame and panel to match your cabinets. Some can be slabs, while others can look like a frame and panel similar to cabinets. These 5 piece drawer options typically mean your top drawer is a flat slab type, and the remainder of the drawers looks more like a cabinet door. These upgrades will help make your space look even more custom.

We recommend garbage pullouts for kitchens and larger families. These custom additions can include one garbage can or two easily. 50-quart trash bins can fit in a garbage pull-out and help hide your trash and conceal odors.

Hidden doors or sections from Rasmussen can come in an outswing or in-swing style. Different door options can help you hide large appliances, a pantry, a mudroom, a bathroom, or a garbage area. These large doors sit flush with the rest of your cabinet set and look just like a typical cabinet.

You should measure all appliances before installing cabinets. Measuring will ensure that your shelving and upper cabinets allow enough room for your appliances to slide in easily. Especially for large appliances like stoves or fridges, measuring down to the centimeter will help you avoid frustration.
