This project perfectly captures the balance between modern cabinetry design, innovative functionality, and refined craftsmanship. This comprehensive cabinetry package highlights a thoughtful blend of high-end materials, hidden features, and intentional detailing, resulting in a home that feels both elevated and effortlessly livable.
A Cohesive Material Palette
At the core of the Gyuro Residence is a carefully curated palette that brings warmth and dimension to a modern aesthetic. The majority of the home is finished in Lujo Harding Oak textured melamine with a Timbergrain finish, creating a rich, natural foundation.
To introduce contrast and visual interest, Rift White Oak and bold accents in Tricorn Black are woven throughout the design. These darker elements ground the space while adding depth and sophistication. For an added layer of texture, reeded detailing is incorporated in the kitchen and main bathroom, offering a subtle yet impactful design moment.

The kitchen serves as the heart of the home, designed not only for high performance but also for seamless integration.
One of the standout features is the hidden pantry door, crafted as a banded panel with false doors that blend flawlessly into the surrounding cabinetry. This “hidden” element enhances the clean, uninterrupted look of the space while maximizing modern cabinetry functionality.
The kitchen is fully equipped to accommodate premium appliances, including a ZLINE dishwasher, a FORNO all-fridge and all-freezer combination, and a double oven setup. At the center, the island is thoughtfully engineered with custom end panels and top plates that align perfectly over integrated support structures, combining precision with visual simplicity.

- Master Bathroom: Floating modern cabinetry creates a light, modern feel, while a custom U-shaped drawer modification works seamlessly around plumbing to maximize storage without compromise.
- Mudroom: Designed as a functional transition space, the mudroom features custom lockers with integrated drawers, finished in bold Tricorn Black for durability and style.
- Den Built-Ins: Tailored shelving and cabinetry provide the perfect balance of display and concealed storage, adding both function and personality to the space.
- Basement Kitchenette: A secondary entertaining area includes custom cabinetry at a 34-1/2” height and an under-counter refrigerator ideal for hosting while maintaining a cohesive design language.
The Finishing Touches
No detail was overlooked in bringing this project together. Hardware selections play a key role in reinforcing the home’s modern aesthetic. Matte black ProEdge edge finger pulls are used throughout the majority of the home, offering a clean and streamlined look. In the basement’s main bathroom, a satin champagne finish introduces a subtle touch of warmth and contrast.
