This extensive remodel project for located in Farmington, Utah, features custom cabinetry and finishes across multiple rooms, including the Kitchen, Butler’s Pantry, Office, Laundry, Master Bath, Kitchenette, Built-Ins, Gym Bath, and Basement Bath. The design incorporates a variety of wood types, stains, and paint colors to create unique aesthetics in each space.  

Key Design Elements and Finishes:

  • Kitchen: Primarily features Rustic Alder with WS0656 stain, along with Soft Maple in SW2846 Roycroft Bronze Green (Matte – 20 sheen). Notable elements include 3″ Mission Crown, decorative 5-piece panels, a custom plate rack in the butler’s pantry hutch, and custom round and quartered posts on the kitchen islands. Glass doors with clear glass are specified.
  • Butler’s Pantry: Showcases Soft Maple with SW7547 Sandbar (Matte – 20 sheen) and Rustic Alder with WS0656 stain. This area includes a custom valance, half-round posts, and glass doors with seedy glass.
  • Office: Designed with Soft Maple in Ben Moore 2124-10 Wrought Iron. Features a custom mantel, reeded columns, and a rolling ladder.
  • Laundry Room: Utilizes Soft Maple with SW9079 Velvety Chestnut. Includes floating shelves and cane fabric panels on shaker doors.
  • Master Bath & Kitchenette: Both areas feature Rift White Oak with a Wheatgrass finish, incorporating a 1/4″ drop round profile on valance toekicks and a combination of flat, 1/4 bead, and 1/4 drop round door cuts.
  • Built-Ins: Crafted from Soft Maple with SW7010 White Duck, featuring a hidden pantry door with a false toe kick and 5/32″ narrow reeded glass in cabinet doors.
  • Gym Bath: Features Soft Maple with SW7639 Ethereal Mood.
  • Basement Bath: Designed with Soft Maple in Ben Moore 1580 Intrigue, including custom scalloped valance toekicks and P1 style posts.

The project emphasizes custom details, including various crown molding styles (CM44, CM42, BV5 Mission Crown), intricate column work by “Mike,” and specialized hardware such as push-to-open mechanisms and gold oval rods in the laundry.
